Meet Our Team

Meet Lisa Taormina, MOT, OTR/L. With over 22 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist, I’ve dedicated my career to helping children build independence, confidence, and functional skills in their everyday lives. My background includes extensive work with children from birth through age 22 in private practice across school-based, home and clinical settings.
Currently, I’m honored to provide outpatient pediatric OT services at Holy Cross Health, where I work with families to create customized therapy plans rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
I bring a whole-child, family-centered approach to every session—looking beyond the diagnosis to truly understand a child’s strengths, challenges, and daily environment. Whether we’re working on fine motor coordination, sensory processing, or life skills, my goal is always to support meaningful progress that carries over into real life.
Above all, I believe in forming genuine partnerships with families, so they feel empowered and informed every step of the way. Watching children grow into their abilities and celebrate small victories is the heart of why I do this work.

Meet Maria Mandelion M.S.,CCC-SLP. I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 17 years of experience specializing in pediatric communication development. I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages, supporting them through a range of challenges—from early language delays to articulation and social communication needs.
My approach is family-centered, play-based, and rooted in evidence-based strategies. I believe therapy should be engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and goals. I prioritize building strong partnerships with families because I know that consistent collaboration leads to the best outcomes.
I currently provide services in an outpatient clinic setting and am passionate about helping children build confidence in their communication skills. I truly believe every child has a unique voice—and I’m here to help them find it.
