Dr. Alvarez specializes in treating older adults, especially those 65 and up. This age group often has multiple or complex health matters and needs specialized care. Geriatric doctors have the training and experience to address these issues.
Kritzia Pineda Monroy, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. Pineda is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care specialist who completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Miami program at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to internal medicine, Dr. Pineda focuses on annual wellness visits, preventive care, tobacco cessation, fall risk assessments, depression screenings, care management and STD screenings.
A member of the American College of Physicians and the Florida Medical Association, Dr Pineda also has many years of healthcare volunteer experience throughout Costa Rica and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
Alyson Fields D'Addio, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Behavioral Health Specialist
Alyson provides emotional support as you manage life’s changes and challenges. She does this through individual counseling and support groups. Her support groups encourage a sense of community while addressing your common experiences and concerns. Additionally, Alyson connects you and your family with valuable community resources which help support you and your caregivers optimize your quality of life.
