The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Holy Cross Hospital Medicine Residency Program, received accreditation on September 22, 2014 in the final step toward becoming the first residency program at Holy Cross Hospital. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved the Internal Medicine training program to begin in July 2015 which will expand over the next three years to train a total of 42 residents.

Candidates will be able to apply to the program by October 1, 2014 by submitting applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), the online application system that connects fourth year medical students to available residency programs.
