Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
This recently renovated 48-bed unit is located on the sixth floor of Holy Cross Hospital and features the Linda and Henry Haller Physical Therapy Center. Each patient receives three hours of inpatient therapy, delivered daily by a group of highly skilled therapists who value teamwork. Compassionate care is provided by our dedicated nursing staff, many of whom are Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRN). The professional team of therapists and nurses focuses treatment on each individual patient’s plan of care and rehabilitation goals. All services are provided seven days a week and patients are seen by a board certified physiatrist every day.
When you are preparing for discharge from the hospital, your health care team may recommend continued care before you go home. Going to a rehabilitation ("rehab") facility can refer to Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation (hospital inpatient rehabilitation) or a Sub Acute Skilled Nursing Facility / SNF (nursing home). Learn more about Holy Cross Hospital's Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation program and the differences when compared to a SNF.
