We want to make the health care experience easy for our patients. Our new EHR system, Epic, allows patients to view their records, test results and pay bills from any Holy Cross Health facility in one patient portal – Trinity Health MyChart. MyChart is available through a website or mobile application giving you access to your information anywhere at any time.

Nothing, you will receive an email from us in early October, once the system is live, with instructions on how to register for your new Trinity Health MyChart patient portal account. But, if you'd like to, you can sign up today!

Yes, your provider will still be able to view your health record from our current system after our transition to Epic.

Yes, you will still have access to the current portal for approximately 60 days (subject to change).

If you need a copy of your health record or a test result, you can request one from our Health Information Management Department.

Holy Cross Health is a member of Trinity Health one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, serving diverse communities that include more than 30 million people across 22 states. Over the next few years, all Trinity Health-owned hospitals and provider practices will be on the same instance of Epic. This means if you are at a Trinity Health location near home or out of town so is your health record. Currently, Trinity Health hospitals and providers in Michigan and Albany, New York use this Epic instance with Indiana, Ohio and Maryland joining in October 2021.

Yes, you can link your accounts and see all your information in one place. However, depending on the settings of that health care provider, this information may only be visible to you in the patient portal and not to your Holy Cross Health provider when they look in your patient record.
