This Dr has no patient connection. He is like a drone. Only does the minimum. Does not make me confident about having a major surgery.
Repeated same queries as PA 20 minutes earlier
I was early for the appointment and called at 2:15-2:20 for my transfer into the examining room. I was there for knee injections which were done professionally and quickly. No issue there. I waited for 1.5 hours before he came in to administer the injections. The MA Sophia came in to discuss treatment and prepare injections, and then it was a solid hour before I saw the dr. Better updates with status would help.
They were running a little behind but I expressed my concern because I had another appointment and they help me get out faster
Dr. Burke answered all of my questions and explained everything clearly.

My appointment was at 10:30am. I was told to come in at 10:00, which I did. I then waited in the waiting room to be called by the assistant till approximately 10:53am. Once in the exam room the x-ray tech came within 3-4 min to take my hip x-ray. I was brought back to the exam room where I waited until 11:55am before the doctor came in. He reviewed my x-ray & addressed my situation appropriately without me feeling rushed & for that I was satisfied. I was very glad the MD came in within 5 minutes of noon because if not I was going to walk out. Having to wait 2 hours is ridiculous for a 5-10 minute MD visit

2nd surgery with Dr. Burke and have learned what to expect.
Dr. Burke replaced my right knee 15 years ago and I trusted him again with my left knee. When I asked a number of doctors about who they would choose to replace their knee, the responses were overwhelmingly Dr. Burke.
Arrived to appointment on time. Then after x-ray waited 1 1/2 hours and finally saw PA Kelsey. She answered my questions and was very professional and pleasant. Then was told to wait to see Dr. Burke. He still had 2 more patients before me. At this time i had been there 2 hours and had to leave to attend to other obligations. Very unhappy that I never got to see Dr. Burke for consultation.

Knowing my situation (needing a new hip) Dr. Burke put me at ease with his confidence and willingness to answer my questions on a level I could understand. I also like the fact that getting an appointment to see the doctor was much faster than what another facility could offer and scheduling the surgery was an easy task. Also, Dr. Burke's willingness to accept V.A insurance and help U.S. Army soldiers was important. Would like to thank Trinity Health, Holly Cross and Dr. Burke personally for this.

He kept looking at his watch, although I doubt the appt was more than 10 minutes. How long is allotted to each patient? It made me a little uncomfortable. Hope he doesn't rush through his surgeries!

I am almost 79 yrs. old & have experienced many "professionals" at work. Many are quite accomplished at their primary mission, but lacking in administration/management of a complex office staff. Clearly, Dr. Burke has hired top professionals to fill every task in his practice AND personally & closely overseen everything to ensure that his personal excellence extends to each facet of his office. This is a major feature of the patient/customer satisfaction outcome. Few get it right. Dr. Burke got it ALL right! Thank you to all.
I would complain about the more than 1 hour I was made to wait after I was guided to the office. May be the scheduling could improve by taking into account the time each patient would require?
Dr. Burke is very caring, very honest about the treatment needed but doesn't push treatment that is optional and exudes confidence in a good way and is very knowledgeable. I have such confidence in him and in Holy Cross.

Four months post-op and my condition is not better, yet considerably worse than it was per-op. Forecast for improvement over the coming months is uncertain. Both messaging and an in-person visit with Dr Burke were met with a sense that I was being told to live with it.

Dr. Burke replaced my left hip 3 years ago and I have had to issues after surgery. He said at the time my right hip may give me some problems down the road and I was having some pain which he feels is bursitis which is treatable with over the counter meds. Just good to know all is

Dr. Burke and his team did an outstanding job replacing my left hip. No problems... One year later the new hip works exactly the same as my good right hip and I forget it is there. Dr. Burkes entire team support him efficiently like a good, oiled machine.I would not hesitate to recommend them to any new patient.

He came in and asked the reason me being there, asked questions, so we both were on the same page. Reviewed X-rays with me, then gave options to help the situation.

Dr Burke gave a thorough hands on analysis of my condition and listened to me regarding the pain I was feeling. He made recommendations and gave me a script for PT which I love. IDr Burke did bilateral knee replacements on my knees and I trust him to give me tips, advice and guidance on solving the pain issues.

After a year of being mixed diagnosed by Dr. Copen, I’m not blaming him, but it wasn’t much my hip not my knee. Dr Burke had the correct diagnosis and I’m so relieved. I had a year of knee injections that never helped and of course they turned out that I have bone on my head. Very thankful for Dr Burke. My skirt surgery is scheduled for August 6.

SURGERY SUCCESSFUL. PATIENT MENTIONED CONCERN ABOUT PAIN RELATED TO TENDON ADJACENT TO SITE BUT NO EXPLANATION UNTIL PATIENT BROUGHT UP POSSIBLE CAUSE. THEN PA ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE AREA OF CONCERN NEEDED SIGNFICANT REPAIR. IF THAT WAS SHARED EARLIER I WOULD HAVE NOT NEEDED 2 ADDITIONAL VISITS TO REASSURE ME THAT MY ACTIVITY DID NOT CREATE THE ISSUE.
