Dr. Font explained the reason for stress tests, who usually takes them and why. As a result, he suggested a different process to determine if a stress test is needed. He was very thorough reading my previous dr.s visits.

I had an issue about 7 years ago with a previous cardiologist & left his office in tears. I made an appt to see Dr Font - my boyfriend referred him to me - and he not only gave me wonderful news about the condition of my heart tests, he was very kind & compassionate & I will always be grateful to him for that.

My experience with your network, particularly Holy Cross-affiliated providers, has been deeply disappointing from the outset. After switching my health insurance to Ambetter, I quickly realized that most local in-network doctors are tied to Holy Cross. Unfortunately, the problems began with your customer service. Phone representatives have been consistently rude, unhelpful, and confrontational. Every interaction feels more like a battle than an effort to support patient needs, with little regard for resolving concerns. The situation escalated during my appointment with Dr. Vicente Font (Cardiology). When I attempted to explain my condition in detail, Dr. Font abruptly cut me off, telling me to stop talking so he could take notes. He was dismissive of my concerns, showing no interest in understanding my symptoms beyond surface-level information. Instead of asking clarifying questions or exploring my issues further, he insisted that everything was fine and suggested I simply go home. When I advocated for additional tests, he begrudgingly agreed to a calcium test but ignored the other symptoms and concerns I had shared. The entire encounter felt rushed, impersonal, and unprofessional. Dr. Font’s dismissive attitude and lack of genuine concern for patient care left me feeling unheard and disregarded. This was, without a doubt, the most unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience I’ve ever had with a healthcare provider. As a result, I will not be returning to Dr. Font or any Holy Cross-affiliated provider. I urge you to address the unacceptable gaps in both patient care and customer service within your network. Patients deserve respect, attentiveness, and proper medical evaluation—none of which I experienced.
