Great visit
It was 'the best'. She is easy to talk to and answered my question completely.
She is always answering any questions without rushing you.
My concern is my weight gain and the DR was relatively unconcerned offering no suggestions other than exercising and watching what I eat. She did however mention that Medicare won't approve any GLP 1 for weight loss unless I have sleep apnea or diabetes. That means other insurance companies are approving w/o those restrictions. My Blue Cross Blue Shield is supposed to be my RX provider not Medicare. This comment led me to contact them, correcting their error, and hopefully they will approve my prescription written by my Endocrinologist.
Dr. Pineda_Monroy is caring and understanding. She has been my primary for a number of years.
