About
Edwin Golikov, D.O. is specially trained to diagnose and manage diseases of the digestive tract, from the esophagus to the large intestine.
He treats patients with conditions including colon cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel diseases, gastroesophageal reflux and liver disease. His sub-specialty focus includes pancreaticobiliary disorders, gastrointestinal cancers, complex polypectomy and pancreatic cystic lesions. He performs interventional endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoluminal stenting and suturing.
Dr. Golikov completed fellowships in advanced interventional endoscopy at NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola, New York and gastroenterology at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, New York. Dr. Golikov earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with honors from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York and B.A. in Natural Sciences from Fordham University. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Obesity Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Golikov is proficient in Russian.
