Dr David Drew is EXCELLENT
Dr. Drew is a fantastic doctor who I can never praise enough. I have recommended him to over a dozen people since we have met. He is the only physician I have (both at Holy Cross & UM) aside from Dr. Hopkins, who is no longer with Holy Cross, who reviews my entire chart to get a full picture of my health, and to understand what is happening with my health. He evaluates trends, asks questions to make sure he understands the full picture and has one heck of a memory! Can you keep him forever?

Dr. Drew is super awesome. He is very down to earth and to the point. Always addresses any concern I may have and explains clearly what we will do to treat my concerns and my full treatment plan.

I wanted the options here to include EXCEPTIONAL because that is what I would choose for Dr. Drew after the time he spent with me at my first appointment. He also provided some clarity and hope. Have been through a lot with Dr Drew and feel that his skill and competence has kept me alive
My one problem is hearing and understanding everything Dr Drew says. He speaks softly into his computer screen. He often moves his mask to make it easier for me and I bring my husband along so we have an extra set of ears listening. When I listen to Dr Drew’s videos, I understand and hear it all. He needs to speak to me the same way he speaks to the camera.
Dr. Drew is a caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate person. But why did we have to wait 2 hours to see him? This has happened several visits in the past--wait time is very long.
I’m very disappointed. I left this first meeting with a new oncologist shaking. There are other choices and I will explore them. Lucky for me, I’m not a very active case. But I still deserve the best care. Period.

I had a 9 am appointment but did not see Dr Drew until 10:20 am. He apologized and explained that he had been the oncall Dr for the hospital that morning and, as a result was not able to see me in a timely manner. As I have been a patient of his for many years I forgave the long delay but if this had been my first visit I would not have been so understanding.
