Holy Cross Health Primary Care Physician Dr. Jason Ceavers Earns ACP Fellowship
February 18, 2026
Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 18, 2026) – Holy Cross Heath announced that Jason Ceavers, MD, FACP, an internist specializing in LGBTQ+ affirming care, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the society of internists. Fellowship is a professional recognition awarded to physicians who demonstrate integrity, clinical excellence and sustained commitment to patient care and internal medicine.
Dr. Ceavers was elected upon the recommendation of peers and the review of ACP’s Credentials Subcommittee. He may now use the letters “FACP” after his name in recognition of this honor. He is certified in internal medicine by American Board of Internal Medicine and has received awards such as “Best Doctor” in Broward County by the OutSFL Readers’ Choice Awards in 2024.
“As a primary care physician working closely with the LGBTQ+ community, this recognition affirms the trust I’ve built with my patients and the care we provide together,” said Dr. Ceavers. “It shows that commitment to evidence-based care and patient advocacy is valued, and it reminds me to keep serving our community with integrity and care.”
Dr. Ceavers provides comprehensive primary care, including preventative medicine, chronic disease management, mental health support and care for older LGBTQ+ adults. “Through my daily work with patients, I aim to build lasting relationships and provide care that meets the unique needs of our community,” he said.
The FACP distinction also supports his broader goals in internal medicine. “I hope this recognition helps me continue building trust in the community, form new partnerships and work with my colleagues to reach more people, including those who have historically faced barriers to care. It’s an opportunity to make healthcare more accessible and supportive for everyone who needs it,” he said.
Through this recognition, Dr. Ceavers continues to turn his day-to-day work and community partnerships into compassionate, inclusive care that strengthens the health and well-being of Wilton Manors.
