Holy Cross Hospital has received $50,000 from Community Foundation of Broward for its “Cancel Cancer - Cancer Research & Support” program at the Holy Cross Cancer Research Institute. This will enable Holy Cross Hospital to transform the way cancer patients are treated based on their genetic makeup or the genetic profile of an individual’s tumor. The Cancel Cancer grant makes it possible to bring these new personalized medicine cancer therapies to 50-100 Broward patients who have not previously had access to genetic screening.

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Holy Cross Hospital opened the doors of an Urgent Care and Imaging Center in Boca Raton on August 15, 2016 at 23071 State Road 7 in Boca Raton. This is the third Urgent Care and Imaging Center for Holy Cross; additional centers are in east Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to treating non-life threatening conditions, Holy Cross will offer outpatient rehabilitation at the state-of-the-art,10,000-square-foot center.
The Wound Care Center at Holy Cross Hospital, a member of the Healogics network, is helping raise awareness of chronic wounds. The third annual Wound Care Awareness Week is being held from June 6 to June 10. One of nearly 800 Healogics-managed centers, Holy Cross offers advanced therapies to patients suffering from chronic wounds, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Program Directors across the nation will dedicate the entire week to educating physicians, patients and the general public about the chronic wound epidemic and the advanced wound care solutions.
