Marcell Haywood is an entrepreneur and business executive.  He is currently the CEO of Thesis Holdings, a diversified holding company with interests in a range of SaaS and technology-enabled service businesses.

He studied at Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude with a master's degree in Information Technology.

Marcell’s core business and investment strategy centers on scalable ventures that specifically target the intersection of technology and age-old service industries.

Marcell is also the Founder & CEO of Encompass, a provider of facility maintenance software and services founded while earning his graduate degree. Marcell has focused on providing better opportunities to service professionals throughout the US.

Marcell founded a practice management software called iMedData and was an operating partner of Preferred Pediatrics before its exit to private equity.

Marcell volunteers his time to mentor young entrepreneurs as a former board member of Entrepreneurs Organization and FAU Tech Runway.  Additionally, he makes regular appearances as a guest speaker at local and national business conferences.

Marcell has served on boards for Broward Workshop, Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, and Community Foundation of Broward.

He is a member of the Holy Cross Board Compliance Committee.
