Pine Crest School Grad Returns to Fort Lauderdale as surgical specialist
Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor announced that David A Taub, MD, MBA, has joined the Holy Cross Medical Group, a 110-member physician employed multi-specialty group providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Dr Taub returns to South Florida where he grew up. Following graduation from Pine Crest School in Ft Lauderdale, he went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Michigan. He then received his MD degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. After completing his residency at the University of Michigan, Dr Taub instructed residents at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Hospital. He also received a Masters of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Dr Taub specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of urologic malignancies. He has significant experience performing robotic prostatectomies and has taught these techniques at the University of Toledo. Additionally, Dr Taub is competent utilizing the robot for partial and radical nephrectomy for treating kidney cancer. He is excited to offer patients the latest in minimally invasive surgery in a multi-disciplinary approach with his medical and radiation oncology colleagues at the Michael and Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center at Holy Cross Hospital.
Dr Taub is a member of the American Medical Association and an associate member of the American Urological Association and has been published in numerous medical journals.
