FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor, M.D. announced that Drs. Audrey Liu and Veronica Munera have joined the Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 160 physicians providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Audrey Liu, M.D.
Dr. Audrey Liu is board-certified in internal medicine and joins the Holy Cross Medical Group from the multi-specialty group practices of Stamford Health Integrated Practices and Greenwich Medical Group in Connecticut, where she provided traditional inpatient and outpatient care with attending privileges at Greenwich Hospital. Dr. Liu also participated in teaching rounds with Greenwich Hospital's internal medicine residents, and cared for patients at local nursing homes. Dr. Liu received her bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Princeton University, her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, and completed her internal medicine internship and residency program at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Veronica Munera, M.D.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Veronica Munera has joined the Holy Cross Medical Group's Multi-Speciality Group of West Broward, where she will serve as a primary care physician. Prior to joining the Holy Cross Medical Group, Dr. Munera completed two years of research work serving as a post-doctoral associate with the University of Pittsburgh, and also served as primary care and urgent care physician at the Specialists Clinic in Colombia and at a rural practice with Medellin's Public Service Enterprise (EEPPM). A bilingual speaker of Spanish and English, Dr. Munera received her medical degree from CES University in Medellin, Colombia. She completed her internal medicine residency at North Shore-LIJ Health System's Forest Hills Hospital in Forest Hills, NY and at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, North General Hospital in New York.
