"Selections from the Signature Ladies of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society" is Now on Display in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion
Exhibition to hang through January 2014 in the gallery at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center
“Selections from the Signature Ladies of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society” is on display now through January 2014 in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center at Holy Cross HealthPlex.
Presenting works by 14 artists, the new art exhibition features vibrant still-life and street scenes along with paintings depicting the flora, fauna and fun of South Florida.
With members throughout the tri-county area, the Signature Ladies of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society come from diverse walks of life with some holding degrees from formal art education and others who are self-taught. Incorporated in 1976, the Society provides a cooperative, learning environment in which fellow artists can meet and encourage the talents of new artists.
The Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion addresses the physical and spiritual needs of women in the community and includes a medical spa, lifestyle counseling rooms, café and teaching kitchen, community education rooms and additional physician suites.
In addition to the Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion, the Women's Center features the Marti Huizenga Meditation Chapel and Healing Garden, the Hudson Family Foundation Physicians Suite, the Jan Moran Reception Suite and the Jeane M. Dorini Women’s Imaging and Diagnostic Suite offering advanced breast imaging including digital mammography, minimally invasive diagnostic procedures, stereotactic breast biopsy, bone density studies and ultrasonography.
The gallery is located in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Pavilion at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center at Holy Cross HealthPlex, 1000 NE 56th Street in Fort Lauderdale. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call: (954) 351-7800.
