Holy Cross Hospital is closely monitoring Hurricane Irma. We encourage you to do the same. Please take the time now to prepare your home, family and pets. Please remember, Holy Cross Hospital is not a shelter.
In order to concentrate our resources and energies on your loved ones, we must limit the number of people in the hospital during a storm. This applies to the number of employees as well as the number of visitors. Therefore, visitors will be asked to leave before 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 8. This will allow us to focus on patient care. Thank you for your understanding.
Hospital Department Schedules
Holy Cross Hospital will offer limited services on Friday, Sept. 8. Our Emergency Department will remain open during the storm for true medical emergencies.
We are boarding up some of our satellite entrances on the Main campus. The Associate and Main entrances will remain open until winds reach 39 miles per hour.
Should you have concerns regarding your scheduled surgical procedure, please contact your physician’s office for additional information.
Holy Cross Medical Group offices are rescheduling Monday's patients. The decisions for Tuesday will be made by the Holy Cross Command Center as the storm progresses. If you are seeking information after the storm has cleared and have difficulty in reaching your physician’s office, you may contact our Call Center at 1-866-442-3627.
Please be advised that the general new hire orientation originally scheduled for Tuesday, 9/12, has been cancelled. We are working to reschedule it later in the month and will communicate that date once it is confirmed.
