At Holy Cross Hospital, enhanced technology places increased emphasis on diagnostic and outpatient surgical procedures. Our Outpatient Surgery Services also include a variety of procedures, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy and arthroscopy. Staffed by critical care nurses and exercise physiologists, Cardiac Rehabilitation Services at Holy Cross Hospital features treadmills, bicycles, Stairmasters, rovers, upper body Ergometers and light weights.
The Cardiac Rehabilitation department is located on the second floor of the Jim Moran Heart & Vascular Center and is accessible via the Main Entrance parking lot. Complimentary valet parking is available.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is located on the main campus of Holy Cross Hospital, first floor of the Jim Moran Heart and Vascular Center, in the Zachariah Family Wellness Pavilion. Our rehab unit is bright, open and inviting, with a wide variety of state-of-the-art exercise and monitoring equipment. Our patients are carefully monitored via our Quinto telemetry system. The key to maintaining your health is to follow a good management program. Whether you have Type I (insulin dependent) diabetes, Type II (non-insulin dependent) diabetes, or Gestational (diabetes that occurs during pregnancy) diabetes, Holy Cross Hospital offers you both inpatient and outpatient programs to help.
We provide multi-disciplinary classes involving hands-on learning, as well as lectures, and allow the patient to institute what is learned in the classroom setting at home each evening. Patients and members of their family have the opportunity to learn a variety of information about diabetes.
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is available at the Outpatient Nutrition Center located at the Outpatient Rehab Center on 20th Street on the main Hospital campus. In addition to treating patients with diabetes, MNT is a nutritional approach used to treat a variety of medical conditions, such as high cholesterol, high blood sugars, and more.

Holy Cross Hospital specializes in providing a full range of home health services. The primary objective is to provide an extensive range of care in the home according to individual needs, encouraging maximum rehabilitation and independence. Our staff, specially trained for in-home care, work directly with the patient's doctors and family to establish a comprehensive recovery plan. Our staff will determine a patient´s full range of home health benefits and order appropriate equipment and supplies, including Telehealth, and Guardian Monitoring Services.

When the outpatient lab area on the 1st floor of the hospital is closed, outpatients can be registered in the ED recognizing that delays will likely be encountered based on more emergent patient priorities.
