FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Dr. Vivek Narendra Patel has joined the Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 130 physicians providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Dr. Patel completed his residency in internal medicine at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla. and received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he also graduated with honors with a B.S. in biology.
Dr. Patel was formally a medical resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami. He has been published extensively numerous publications in journals such as Contemporary Radiation Oncology, Dermatology and Therapy, Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics and the Journal of Radiation Oncology, among others.
Active in professional organizations, Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Radium Society, Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, and Indian Physicians of South Florida. He speaks English, Gujrati, Hindi, and Spanish.
