Sister Marie Parker, RSM is a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. She had served as a teacher and principal prior to her extensive ministry in healthcare administration.

Sister Marie was Regional Vice-President, Mission Services for Mercy Health Partners, the Northeast Region of Catholic Health Partners (now Bon Secour Mercy Health) in Cincinnati, OH. More recently, she was the System Director, Mission Integration and Spiritual Care for Catholic Health East which became Trinity Health with offices in Livonia, MI and Newtown Square, PA.

In her Mission roles, she was involved in sponsorship/governance activities, design/implementation of values integration in organization processes, promoting/assessing Catholic identity, developing an online pastoral education program with Loyola University, and facilitating processes for mergers and transitions of facilities.

Sr. Marie had also served in Leadership and Formation roles for the former Dallas (PA) Regional Community. She currently serves on the boards of the Conference for Mercy Higher Education (Silver Spring, MD), NativityMiguel School (Scranton, PA), and The Mercy Foundation (Dallas, PA). Previous board involvement included Marian Woods (Hartsdale, NY), PA Catholic Health Association, Mount Aloysius College, and the United Way of Wyoming Valley.

Sr. Marie holds a bachelor’s degree in French and English from College Misericordia (now Misericordia University), a master’s degree in Education Administration from Duquesne University, and a master’s degree in Theology from Boston College.

Sister Marie serves on the Quality and Safety Committee.
