Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
A Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is available for newborns that require serious medical attention. Under the direction of a Board Certified Neonatologist, our medical team is staffed by nurses specially trained in newborn critical care. Their shared expertise allows for immediate attention and optimal care.
Newborn Screening One of the newest and most exciting programs introduced at Holy Cross is the Neo Gen Screening Program. The Neo Gen Program is designed to extend newborn screening to include over 30 inherited potentially treatable or manageable disorders. Holy Cross is the only hospital in South Florida to offer this additional screening.
