The Feldman Center for Optimal Health (FCOH) was founded to enhance patient care by integrating complementary therapies into the already excellent medical care provided at Holy Cross Hospital. We´ll turn your health around 360°. Integrative medicine emphasizes the wellness and healing of the entire person in body, mind and spirit. Each patient is encouraged and empowered to enter into a partnership with their physicians and the practitioners of the FCOH in order to maximize recovery and maintain optimal health in all areas of life.
The philosophy here at the FCOH is compatible with the World Health Organization´s definition of health that equates health with well-being: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."
This new integrative model of medicine relies on "evidence-based" practices. Each holistic therapy offered by the FCOH is scientifically researched and proven effective in a plan combined with standard treatment of disease. They are applied in accordance with the best care of individual patients in mind.
