We are located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, on Federal Highway (U.S. 1) just south of Commercial Blvd. Please click here for a map and directions.
Where do I park?
For your convenience, Holy Cross Hospital offers complimentary valet parking for patients and visitors. Simply pull up to our front doors and we will take care of parking your vehicle for you. For those who prefer to self park, ample parking is available adjacent to the Guerrieri Family Foundation Lobby. You can access this parking area from Federal Highway or Commercial Blvd. Make sure to browse our Interactive Map.

How do I get admitted to the hospital?
Patients are admitted to the hospital either through their physician or when presented to the Emergency Department. Should you feel you need to obtain care at Holy Cross Hospital, consult your physician. In the case of an emergency, our emergency department is open 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Where do I check in?
In most cases you will be admitted to Holy Cross through the Admitting Department located off the main entrance. You should, however, ask this question when scheduling your treatment. There are instances when a patient is transferred from another health care facility or is admitted through the Emergency Department.
What important papers do I need to bring to the hospital with me?
All patients are required to bring a photo ID and personal insurance information.
What else should I bring?
We want you to be comfortable during your stay at Holy Cross Hospital. We suggest packing warm slippers, pajamas and robe, personal hygiene items and reading materials.
What should I leave at home?
Valuables, jewelry and regular prescriptions. It is not necessary to bring your regular prescriptions with you, but a written list of the medications you take would be helpful.

Who can I talk to with questions about my bill?
We recognize that you may sometimes have questions regarding financial issues associated with your visit to Holy Cross Hospital. There are several ways to submit questions about your bills.
For questions concerning your bills obtained during a Holy Cross Hospital visit, you may e-mail them to hospitalbilling@holy-cross.com or call 954-596-8001 to speak to a representative in our Patient Financial Services Department.

Should I bring my insurance card with me to the hospital?
Patients are required to bring personal insurance information with them when they visit Holy Cross Hospital. This will allow us to process billing swiftly and accurately. You are also required to bring a photo ID.
How do I know if my insurance company will cover my visit or certain services?
Contact your insurance company directly to verify the service. If your insurance provider has issued you a card, you should find a contact number on the back side.
How can I contact a patient at Holy Cross?
Each patient bed in a private or semi-private room has been assigned a unique telephone number. This telephone number will allow family or friends to call directly without going through the hospital's main switchboard. The bed number and the room number are correlated to the telephone and all rooms share the same prefix. For example:
- Bed #1 = 954-267-6 + ROOM NUMBER
- Bed #2 = 954-267-7 + ROOM NUMBER
If you do not have the room number, you may contact a patient by phoning our main switchboard at 954-771-8000. Our friendly customer service associates will be happy to connect you to your friend or loved one.
When can I visit a patient?
Holy Cross Hospital offers visiting hours that allow for patient recovery and friendly visits by well wishers. Hours vary according to departmental requirements and patients´ need for privacy. Please consult the visiting hours page to see the hours for each department.
Can I order flowers and gifts directly from the hospital Gift Shop for an inpatient?
Flowers and gifts may be ordered by calling Lorelei´s Gift Shop run by the Holy Cross Auxiliary. Our volunteers will be more than happy to deliver your flowers and gifts with a warm smile and your best wishes. Simply call us at 954-492-5781 to place your order. We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

What types of treatment do you offer?
Holy Cross Hospital offers a variety of treatments and services in a professional environment and administered with the highest standards of customer service and state-of-the-art technology. Outpatient treatments include diagnostic services such as radiology, mammography, ultrasound, computerized tomography (CT) scans, catheterizations, cardiology exams, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine testing.
In-patient treatments include the latest in cancer treatment (including clinical trials), open-heart surgery, joint replacement, emergency surgeries, labor and delivery and much more. Holy Cross Hospital can meet most of your health care needs.
What clinical trials do you have available?
Cancer patients at Holy Cross Hospital are provided access to clinical research programs including treatment and cancer prevention and control trials. Participation in clinical trials involves National Cancer Institute sponsored programs such as the Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) and comprehensive cancer center research. Holy Cross Hospital also is the first in the nation to be named as a local treatment partner of the Nation Cancer Institute. This will improve access to federal clinical trials and experimental treatments and the expertise of cancer researchers. The program is called Partnership in Science.
What types of rooms are available at Holy Cross?
Holy Cross Hospital offers private rooms, semi-private rooms and in some areas patient suites. All rooms are based on availability and there is a premium charge for private rooms and suites.

Our Outpatient Surgery Services also include a variety of procedures, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy and arthroscopy. Utilizing the latest equipment, surgeons perform a variety of procedures in the areas of gynecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat, pulmonary, respiratory, and orthopedics, with minimally invasive techniques to enhance recovery and improve outcome.
Holy Cross´ Michael & Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center offers a range of the latest cancer treatments available on an outpatient basis including access to clinical trials. Holy Cross Hospital also offers a full range of home health services and multi-disciplinary rehabilitative care for orthopedics and patients with cardiac and pulmonary diseases.
