The Heart & Vascular Center team practices a comprehensive disease-centered approach to cardiovascular treatment. Here, experts develop and apply minimally invasive endovascular techniques to treat disorders such as coronary artery disease, carotid artery blockage, peripheral vascular disease, renovascular disease and aortic aneurysm many times before life-threatening symptoms occur.
Specialists also perform electrophysiology studies to detect the cause of irregular heartbeats. Patients who are diagnosed with arrhythmia are candidates for the Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator, a device which can prevent sudden cardiac arrest.
