Emergency Department
Holy Cross Hospital cares for more than 40,000 patients annually in our newly expanded Emergency Department, one of the busiest in Broward County. For everything from chest pain to a minor injury, our facilities and caring professionals offer world-class care. To make trips to the Emergency Department go as smoothly as possible, we have separate reception areas for patients with varying degrees of severity, and even a children's play area in our non-acute waiting area. The Emergency Department staff includes dedicated MDs, DOs, RNs, LPNs, EKG and Respiratory technicians and phlebotomists. A Spiritual Care Office located within the department gives immediate access to Chaplains. All services in the Emergency Department are provided by Emergency Medical Staff that is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. In keeping with our Core Values and Mission, treatment is available to everyone who seeks it. Upon discharge, patients receive detailed instruction on proper aftercare to ensure a speedy and healthy recovery. | |
