Educational Assistance Programs

Holy Cross Hospital encourages Associates to improve their job skills and knowledge by providing them with educational assistance through tuition reimbursement and/or scholarship programs.
 
Tuition Assistance Program
The Tuition Assistance Program provides up to $2,000 per calendar year for tuition fees and textbooks for full-time and modified full-time Associates.  To qualify, Associates must have 6 months of service at Holy Cross and attend accredited vocational schools, college or universities. Part-time Associates can receive a maximum of $1600 per calendar year for tuition fees and required text books.  A part-time Associate must work a minimum of 24 hours per week to qualify.  Courses must be related to the knowledge and/or skills needed in the Associate's present job or be required for a degree or certificate which would lead to a promotion or transfer. Applications should be approved by the Associate's Supervisor & Director, and the Executive Director & Vice-President of Human Resources prior to class registration. 

* Holy Cross Associates who are Broward Community College Nursing students and have completed their nursing pre-requisites can be reimbursed for their tuition, 2 uniforms, lab supplies and books prior to the start of the semester.*
