Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit
Staffed by critical care nurses and exercise physiologists, Cardiac Rehabilitation Services at Holy Cross Hospital features treadmills, bicycles, Stairmaster, rowers, upper body Ergometers and light weights. Located on the second floor of the Jim Moran Heart & Vascular Center and accessible via the Main Entrance parking lot, patients in the Cardiac Rehabilitation program have complimentary valet parking available.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Complete cardiac care incorporates a comprehensive program for recovery and rehabilitation. Holy Cross Hospital features a multidisciplinary approach. The program includes education, monitored exercise, and support. Progress and rehabilitation is monitored by a cardiac care team that includes cardiac care nurses, and exercise physiologists, all certified in advanced cardiac life support. Various educators such as nutritionists and pharmacists are also part of the team. Physician referral is required to enter the Cardiac Rehabilitation program. The referring physician’s office can verify Insurance coverage.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation program is recommended for patients recovering from all aspects of heart problems such as angina, coronary angioplasty, cardiac transplantation, coronary bypass surgery, heart attack, irregular heart beat, pacemaker implantation, and valvular heart disease.
